Last week I had jury duty on Monday, then came in and worked 4 12's

Yesterday I started my workday with bloody marys and tamales. Today isn't quite as good, but at least its a short week.

Straight time Sun, Mon, Tue, OT today 10 hours, off Thursday(paid straight 8), OT Friday 14+ hours, OT Saturday 10 hours.
Repeat for next week... All the OT is double time.

I'd go in tomorrow, but they won't pay me double time and a half.

Houses comparable to mine are around the same price. Except I'm in the uppity suburbs.

How come you don't own yet?

Dammit....I was supposed to work all of this week. And I wanted to. The workload dropped off yesterday around lunch and now I'm off for the rest of the week...and next week. FML.

*huge houses*

I don't understand wanting to live in such a large house. More to clean, more space to accumulate crap. My house is 1/3 the size and the only part I'd like bigger is the garage.

What is the best way to drive FI for better mpg? As of right now I drive just under boost while going light on the throttle. HBU?

Even lighter on the throttle. Throttle vs kpa vs rpm vs fuel is very proportional so.. for mpg, i shift before 3k and less than 70kpa.

Just purchased some Wiha Precision tweezers for tablet repair work at my job. Holy smokes these are awesome. A billion times better than the typical stamped cheapie tweezers.

Didn't decide until very recently that we're going to be here long term. Were heavily considering moving west to CO or PacNW. Will buy within 2 years.

So, 2015 is nearly upon us, and while the flying car would appear to be a way off yet, we do now have hoverboards.

Debating taking a job out in LA. It'd be a great opportunity, but unfortunately means the miata will become a track-only car much sooner than I wanted.

Louisiana is pretty good for cost of living. Petroleum industry?

LA = Los Angeles. Should have specified, I forget that also stands for Louisiana.

Pretty much the opposite end of the cost of living spectrum.

It's for a job with Honda Performance Development, I'll get to go play with the IndyCars

Wasn't Efini~FC3S working for Honda Motorsport or something for a while?

Not sure even that would be enough to get me to move to Los Angles. Of course, I should ask "what part of LA?" but its all terrible as far as I can tell.
