How (and why) to Ramble on your goat sideways
44 minute shootout at BoA
i like when BOA cancels my CC For no reason instead of doing a better job of preventing fraud.
I also like when they allow fraud purchases to go through and will decline legitmate purchases.

After we had our hardwood floors refinished, the echoes in the room were annoying. Adding a simple woven area rug reduced that significantly. Curtains on the windows also had a dramatic effect. Bare walls and floors are very "live" surfaces.

There aren't a whole lot you can bank at across the country, as in walking in and depositing a check in nearly any state. Bank of America worked for me till I didn't need that convenience any more. I'd like to know what the **** their beef is, but they don't even know.

For about 10 years I used only credit unions. San Diego County Credit Union, and Florida Central Credit Union.
I still have my accounts with both of them, even though I don't live in either place anymore. Really nothing but positive things to say about the credit union concept in general. Marginally higher rates of interest on deposit accounts, and never had any BS.
Opened a TD Bank account when I moved to NY because I needed a local POP. No gripes with them either.

I hold an account with a local credit union and then another account at PNC. I love them both for different reasons. The credit union gives me much more favorable terms on loans and PNC is just very convenient. Never had a problem with either.
I use wells fargo for my national bank. This is mostly because when I was a kid my parents started me at First Union and they were bought multiple times and I have just stayed around out of convenience. I have never had any issues with them whats so ever. I also use USAA for banking, but that is more for loans and savings and such.

Wells Fargo customer since 93. They bought everyone else so now I have branches pretty much everywhere I go.
Sure they're marginally annoying if you want to keep an inactive account open indefinitely (no activity in 10 years), but otherwise I've had zero problems.

If PNC would stop making changes to their website ever few months, I would like them much more.
+1 for credit unions. The one I use has a network of affiliate ATMs for taking cash out. Its a little less convenient when you need to get a cashiers check or loan, but the benefits far outweigh the distance to the nearest physical location. Savings rates even on basic checking accounts are 10x better than the big banks best savings account rates.

My interest bearing checking account with the local bank pays about 4x as much as the SAVINGS account at Wells. The savings account is over 8x higher interest rate. They learned my name quickly even though I don't come by often. A couple of the ladies ask about my wife and kid by name as well. It's...nice.
Quick question:
Are the fuel supply and return lines the same size on our cars?
(I have an NB, but mine is a return system)
Getting the calipers under the manifold is a pain.
(I mean the hard lines, btw)

Primarily of importance only if you keep relatively large amounts of liquid cash in deposit and/or prefer to take loans from the same institution with which you normally bank.
