Chrome is a piece of ****, and my level of computer knowledge is beyond anything any of you will ever reach in your life time. So... I win.

I am omnipotent. I know all, past and future. Chrome is it. Google will rule the world by 2062. Android will be running on... androids. Gates (still alive through knowledge/intelligence transfer into a computer) and all of his descendants will be convicted of crimes against humanity, stripped of their wealth by President Natasha Obama (puppet of the Google Corp), and banished to the Dark Side Moon Colony (built by their own confiscated wealth) where their only means of communication with Earth and the other moon bases will be on IBM 286 based PCs running Windows 3.1. They will try to strike a deal with the Chinese for exile but the U.S. Lunar Defense System will shoot down three escape spacecraft before they give up. It will nearly start a war between China and the U.S. but this will be averted at the last minute when in an ironic twist Gates negotiates a treaty that saves humanity from destruction.

OK I think I have had enough coffee now. Time to go work on the car.

random noob question of the day: isn't a turbo supposed to spin freely? I just bought a used one (greddy td04h) and it doesn't spin freely by hand, or even move for that matter. if I recall correctly, the k03 in my jetta did.

It's probably seized. Go beat the **** out of whoever you bought it from and request a refund.

It wasnt. I turn the engine and every time the marks would line up at the top the markings on the timing belt were off by a lot. I think that I have to adjust the cams, due that every time I try to align the marks on the cams correspondingly the cam shaft snaps into position, and then I have to toy around with it to get the cams to somewhat align.

**** the markings you put on the belt, you need to line the crank back up to TDC (notch on cog) and then look at the two cam marks, should be back on E and I again on that back plate after 720°.

Does anyone else ever feel slightly odd about foods whose packaging or advertising depicts an anthropomorphic caricature of the product itself, inviting the purchaser to eat it?

not at all. maybe if i use a ratchet to turn it, but using my fingers, I cant get any movement.

edit: using a ratchet, it turns but it is not smooth at all. when I turn, it feels like it's binding/hanging up on something.

**** me I thought EVERYTHING had to align the same way as it was mounted. I take it that as long as the TDC, and the E/I marking line up, and there is 19 teeth in between timing should be good?
