...edit: actually most those piddly things are not even problems/issues, let alone cause for failure.

Its a rubber cap thing? I dunno, I assume the PO broke/lost it. It seems to hold washer fluid in just fine, provided I don't overfill it. It hasn't bothered me enough to do anything about it.

The engine was too healthy for it's mileage. Automatic failure due to lack of failure

There is an unplugged 4 pin connector just in front of hte intercooler.
