Never paid for a cashiers check. But, then again, I have always taken the money out of an account at the bank issuing it.

Safest is to have the check made out to yourself, then endorse it to the seller on the back.

WTF is going on in America's Underpants?

I facepalmed when they threw a hissy fit and boycotted BBC content after Hammond observed, during a review on the Mastretta, that "Mexican cars are just going to be lazy, feckless, flatulent, overweight, leaning against a fence asleep looking at a cactus with a blanket with a hole in the middle on as a coat."

Let's be realistic, here. That's probably the least offensive generalization that TG have ever made about any country or ethnic group, including the UK.

And lol at arrogant people who claim that their pot smoking is a victimless crime. They should be ashamed for the deaths for which they are responsible. WTF is wrong with people that they can't live their lives without smoking a little dope? Instead of escaping from reality, why don't they try doing something about creating a better reality for themselves to live in.

We just need to reduce our dependence on foreign pot by cultivating new domestic supplies. American has the capacity to be pot-independent by 2015.

Wow.....never heard that one before.

Why the hell would you be so mad at pot smokers? lol You assume if someone tokes up that they have no motivation, no real grasp on life, no reality, needing to escape their terrible going nowhere existence?

I'm gonna go smoke right now. Just for you *******. Maybe you can enjoy a beer instead.....escape your reality.

To be fair, if it i wasn't illegal the amount of deaths/crime that would be associated with marijuana would be SIGNIFICANTLY reduced...to nearly nil.

^^ This.

Prior to the 18th amendment which established prohibition in the US, there was essentially no relationship between organized crime and the production or distribution of liquor. During the era of prohibition, numerous criminal enterprises were either formed or expanded in order to supply liquor illegally, and with this came an increase in violent crimes.

On the one hand, a part of me thinks this is kind of cool:

http://www.commodoreusa.net/CUSA_Amiga1000.aspx

On the other hand, this whole affair reminds me a bit of uncle Felix, who every year at Christmas would dig up aunt Ruth's corpse, slap some makeup on it, and prop her up at the dinnertable. Towards the end, he even started experimenting with anamatronic enhancement.

Now, call me a sourpuss, but once something is dead and buried, it's sometimes best that it remain that way, no matter how much you loved it when it was alive. You can only drag the same bodies out of the grave so many times before you start looking a tad loony.

Donating money to evil people to have nice people murdered isn't my idea of recreation, but I understand your selfishness. It is common.
