How (and why) to Ramble on your goat sideways
Hey I need a scope that reads 12v and up to 1 millisecond pulse widths, will this fit the bill? Obviously I need to get some probes.

That said, I don't like the one he linked to, as it's only a single channel. For automotive work, it's nice to have at least 2 channels so that you can look at the relationship between two events, such as the relationship between CKP and CMP, or between CMP and an injector or ignition output, etc.
The scope you linked to would work fine. Personally, I've become spoiled by having a USB scope. Nice to be able to save traces to the hard drive. This is a newer model of the one I bought a few years ago: http://cgi.ebay.com/Hantek-DSO-2250-...ht_4889wt_1139

Now, I don't know what a 10000624 is, or why Mr. Broberg thinks that I was subjected to one while aboard Delta Flight 0 eleven years ago. Actually, I remember exactly where I was on 1 Jan 2000- working at the Harris plant in Mason, OH. I remember this by way of the fact that I was so damn tired from having done precisely the same thing the day before that I slept right through the 1999-2000 tickover.

Quick question: If I tune my car for E85 and want to switch back and forth between 91 and E85, will I have to drain the tank going from E85 -> 91? I know I will when I go from 91-> E85, but what about from E85 to 91? EDIT: I guess the real question is wheather or not I can switch to 91 with like 1/4 to 1/8th a tank.

I turned on my car this morning and "Turbo Lover" by Judas Priest was on the radio. I think this is a sign my car wants to take this to the next level. Time to start squirtin'.

I have a laptop in the car with me every time it is driven - switching maps on the go isn't too much work, I've done it before. If not, I just make do with whatever map is currently loaded.

you use a flex fuel sensor: http://www.megamanual.com/flexfuel.htm
Could you get away with table switching if you always took it down to 1/8 tank before switching to the other fuel? Probably. Your ignition map for E85 would need to be more conservative than usual, and gEGO would certainly get a workout. The tendency would be for the system to run rich when switching from E10 to E85, and lean when switching in the reverse direction.
