Anyone ever been stopped for not having an illuminated license plate? The license plate lights are busted on my new truck and they are $25 apiece on ebay.

And ticketed? Or just ordered to repair within a given number of days?

I had both a tickect and a fix it order in maryland for my tag not being properly illuminated.

I fought it and still had to pay a fine.

Speaking of license plates, going on two years with no front plate and I still haven't gotten pulled.

As cool ast his EEEpc is, it's a B(TCH to type n.

Didn't correct my errors to show what I'm on about. I'm on an overclocked 701 model. These last two sentances would have taken me about 5 seconds to type on a regular computer, but on this thing it's a true chore.

I had an eeePC before I got this laptop. I used it for a few months and even tuned the car at the dyno with it. When I went to install the new RAM the monitor **** out. I sent it back to Amazon like 6 months after I bought it for a full refund.

This Dell I got was expensive, but it was totally worth it. Having a full size keyboard with number pad is crucial. Not to mention a 17" screen sure beats a ****** tinker toy 10" screen. It was perfect for tuning the car, but other than that I really hated the thing.

Anybody else here use photobucket? Am I the only one who finds it to be highly annoying and unreliable? the ******* browser has a mind of its own, and refuses to change pages and bring up pictures when I click them. I can click from page 1 to 20 and it never changes from page 1's thumbnails. Sometimes I have to close the browser and load the page fresh several times to make it go where I need it to go. Like a bunch of high school kids designed the goddamn thing.

Then again it could just be a problem between Photobucket and Chrome, since Chrome is often picky about certain things like that. Either way it pisses me off severely, and with Chrome being very used, they should have fixed any issue that may exist with compatibility.

OMG WIN WIN WIN WIN WIN :tilt:

USA Today](USA Today) -- There's one thing more common to summer than sunburns and mosquitoes: goofy drinks. This season, everyone from McDonald's to 7-Eleven to Sonic has 'em.

The USA's biggest fast-food makers have a trayload on tap as they gear up for their most crucial selling season. Beverages are the industry's most profitable menu item. But their calorie counts -- especially in the ice-cream-based drinks -- can be mind-boggling.

"Think before you drink," says Hope Warshaw, registered dietitian and author of Eat Out, Eat Right: The Guide to Healthier Restaurant Eating. She suggests water, iced tea or water with orange juice.

But that's not what most thirsty folks want on a hot day. "We've been programmed to be hydration maniacs," says Christopher Muller, dean at Boston University's School of Hospitality Administration. "But we're also prone to want something more exciting than water."

Brewing for spring and summer:

•Weird Slurpees. In June, 7-Eleven will be slapping Slurpees into cups with dual chambers, a special valve and two straws that let folks drink one or two Slurpee flavors at a time. One in three customers at 7-Eleven buys a drink, says Jesus Delgado-Jenkins, SVP of marketing.

•Lemonade twists. McDonald's in May is rolling out McCafé Frozen Strawberry Lemonade. Dairy Queen has launched Lemonade Chillers in regular and strawberry.

•Mind-boggling shakes. Sonic has plans in May for a shake dubbed Double Stuf Oreo Blast, whose ice cream is made with Oreo cream filling. "It's flavored like the middle of an Oreo cookie," says Danielle Vona, Sonic's CMO.

Arby's rolls out a Jamocha Oreo Shake in May. And later this month, Jack in the Box will bring back its blackberry shake
.

•Frozen Dew. Dunkin' Donuts in May is rolling out the first Mountain Dew Coolatta, a frozen slush drink.

•Tropical Frap. Starbucks is bringing back its Mocha Coconut Frappuccino on May 3 for a limited time.

•Cake shakes. Cold Stone Creamery in mid-June will promote its Cake 'n Shake, made with cake batter ice cream, milk and yellow cake pieces.

•Diet delights. In May, KFC will become the first fast-food chain to sell no-calorie Pepsi Max. Subway is rolling out Fuze fresh-brewed raspberry iced tea.

With the exception of the snap ring, it's a very easy job.

Though, I must say, whenever I rebuild a turbo, half the time is spent on the snap ring. I want to kill whoever decided the snap ring was a good idea.

Remote access is the seventh most awesome thing ever invented.

Right now, I am sitting on my couch at home, in my pajamas and fuzzy slippers, sipping a rum and coke, and checking in on a test I left running in the lab this afternoon before I left.

This turbo is cake to rebuild, i know... this will be its second rebuild... which snap ring you talking about? The one for the compressor housing or the tiny bastards? I use an o-ring pick and a small flat head screw driver for the bearing snap rings... and for the compressor housing I cry in the corner of the room for 5 minutes, then man the **** up and fight that tough bitch with a shitty set of "tempered" large snap ring pliers... rest is simple.
