On another note, just had some BMW guy stalk me on the Rennlist forums telling me to keep my "racing" on the track. Claimed I was an idiot for wanting to race on a two lane at midnight. My retort was "Our apologies... had a family emergency while in transit from Ft. Worth as the babysitter had called and my son had busted his nose and lip; which thankfully didn't require medical attention beyond a cold pack and some cleaning up. However, if going around a BMW who dives for the shoulder is racing, then ummm.... OK whatever. 70 in a 65 is not racing in my book!"

Only got shitty vids but I will upload when I get home.
Machine didn't work all the way through though; first run worked 100% except for three things that we set up wrong. Fixed those, time for second run. Second run the three things we fixed worked but 2 other things went wrong. Third was an unmitigated disaster.
3 weeks is not enough time to build a 15 step Rube Goldberg.

First time through 3 steps didn't work that we didn't set up correctly; fixed them, set them up properly and did it again. Second time through, the steps that we reset properly worked fine but two other steps stopped working. Third time was just a disaster.

Trying to fit my F1 stage 3 clutch. Is there anyway to test disengagement before putting it all back together? The spline on the clutch disc is probably a CM bigger than the stock piece. Halp.
