How (and why) to Ramble on your goat sideways
Yes, but in an A/C system, compressability is what makes it work. Yes, it'll read full, but it won't work for crap. And, it won't allow the charge to evenly disperse throughout the system, therefore reading low, even though it's tecnically full. I realize this isn't quite making sense, but I can't remember the proper terminology. Trust me, it's too much moisture (and/or oil) in the system. A new dryer (in the Miata's case it's a dryer/accumulator) will solve the problem - provided the seals are intact.

I've never met so many virgins in my life. This is the same group that thinks NASA TT and DE are too dangerous, but rather than not go they decide to talk about it and "warn people" all the time. The made a private "instructor only" forum for the site. "Look at me, I'm an instructor, lookey lookey!!!"

The recent drought has resulted in the immigration of a few mice into the house. My wife bought a couple packs of
. Victor has replaced the old metal catch with a bright yellow "swiss cheese" plastic catch. One side is marked "Firm" and the other "Sensitive."
Do not believe the markings.
The "Sensitive" side would more accurately be marked, "Impossible." Granted, I don't have the hands of a brain surgeon, but I have good fine motor skills and do not ingest much caffeine. I maintain that it's impossible for human hands to successfully set one of these traps in the "Sensitive" position. Moreover, if one somehow did set it, the first piece of dust that landed on the bait platform would trigger the trap.
The "Firm" position is possible with lots of practice. Be prepared to have your fingers snapped over and over. Keep a ready supply of peanut butter as you'll be replacing it frequently. The best path to success is to set the trap after you place it in the desired position; attempting to move the trap once it is set is a sure way to get your fingernails snapped.
tl;dr These mousetraps suck, buy something else.

Not likely unless the whole batch was screwed up. We had 2 bags of 4 (that works out to 8 total) and while some of them were marginally less impossible than others, I'd guess that each of them took at least 10 tries before I was able to successfully set it.
Anybody know where I can find a pdf or something of the Robbins XT convertible top installation instructions? The copy they sent me is BLANK on pages 2-8, i.e. where the actual instructions are.

I just realized how manly this forum is. We have big threads on racing cars, building cars, extreme fabrication, weight lifting, firearms, and hunting. Somehow Miatas fit into this mix.
