It's entirely possible. They looked good, but I didn't clean them as much as I probably should have. This weekend I'll pull the belts off and clean it up a bit better.

Tighten it up a bit more? Have you checked for any small water leaks that might be getting on the belt?

I think I smell coolant. But I can't see it leaking from anywhere. It worries be because I just did the water pump, so I'm hoping it's not leaking. But still, I there are no drips anywhere.

Bitching about broken cars
I think I have oil leaking out under my valve cover, which I think means I'll have to replace a gasket. :(

Political threads on mt.net, do not want, at least not so many? I can understand a single thread for politics, but this is getting ridiculous, a new thread every few days. Is there any way I can exclude these from my "New posts"? Perhaps if there is subforum JUST for politics and nothing else?

Click "User CP", scroll down to bottom.

Look for Exclude Forums from "Get New Posts"

Select desired subforums to exclude, save preferences.
