------- BORED!!! I feel like I've already been up for a full day, but I still have goddamn 10-11 hours before I can go to bed. Have to stay up and go by the bank first thing this morning. I've played BF3 to death today, and have looked at all the **** I want... what is left? It's a rest day for me, so no gym, unless I just go and ---- around and run on the treadmill or something. BAH!!! The worst part is eating is my favorite boredom killer, but I don't need to eat.

 

That sucks, man. I spent most of the day thinking it was Monday and that I had work tomorrow. Turns out it's Sunday I'd rather be at work than have nothing to do.

In case anyone missed my gigantic Silent Hill HD rant (worth a read because, ---- it, you're already wasting your life on this website. Might as well learn something about video games), I decided to not give in to Konami's HUGE ---- up and bought a refurb'd PS2 slim from GameStop, and Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 from Amazon ( motha' fukin' Prime, bizatches). I went berserk and bought 8 of my favorite games, PS2 slim, 64mb memory card and controller extension cable. All that glory for the cost of 3 new PS3 games.

Games:
-Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 (no news of a PS3 collection release)
-Silent Hill 2 & 3 (see Silent Hill HD rant or google it for all the other pissed of people)
-Mobile Suit Gundam: Journey to Jaburo
-Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation vs. Zeon
-Tekken Tag Tournament
-The Bouncer (nostalgia factor)

The only PS3 games I see my self buying for the next two years are the decent HD collections and remakes. I seriously LOVE the HD collections and remakes, as long as they do a great port and ONLY touch up the graphics and audio. They did a fantastic job on the Shadow of the Colossus and ICO HD collection. Only touched the graphics for 1080 and touched NOTHING ELSE. Same with Zone of the Enders HD and MGS HD Collection. In fact, I think they are all great, minus the abomination that is Silent Hill HD.

Games are not getting any better. Might as well get all the good ones before people wake up and start snatching up all the old ones. I think people are getting real tired of all the bullshit that is being released today (I know I am).

 

Enjoy your freedom, I've got to leave @ 0515 tuesday morning and report to MCT (marine combat training) by 1330 and essentially spend a month in the field. Yay. My MOS school should be better though.

Shadow of the Colossus doesn't need any touching up anyway. that is an epic game with epic visuals. I just hated the ending. The Bouncer, wow, old school ----. I enjoyed the hell out of that game. I loved my HD collections MGS Collection. I'm the same way as you. Nothing new tickles my interest at all. Games have gotten bland and shitty, just like TV and music. Damn new generation of kids ------- it all up. I'm currently trying to get my PS1 emulator working with my PS3 DS controller so I can play all of my PS1 favorites. I have a collection of about 20-30 of my favorites in .iso

GODDAMN paying off bills has never felt so ------- good. Just paid off my truck driving school loan, was $6200 left of the $7200 principle but early payoff offer by those cheap ***** was $3900, also paid off two maxed out credit cards at 14% and my BestBuy card with my TV purchase on it, at 25%. Lumped all of that onto a 36 month 2.0% loan. Save me $200-$250 a month AND I'll pay it all off MUCH faster and with FAR less interest. Feeling ------- good. Now if I could do something about these two Federal student loans in forbearance.
