So it looks like I'll be trading the MOAB for a 2005 Ford Focus ZX4 ST, $500 cash, and I'll be keeping my RPF1's.

Also, I just realized that most of the time, I'm too lazy to click 3 or 4 times to get to the Ramble On thread, so when I have something to post, I just click "New Posts" every couple of minutes until someone else bumps it back to the top. Anyone else do that?

I know.

I ran out of straightaway at Homestead at 132mph before having to stand on the brakes and veer into the infield. Much fun.

he'll be happy to hear that. he thinks no one cared for the greatness he bestowed on us.

IB was working on fixing for the search funciton and has appeared to have blown a few fuses along the way...

I was a steward at a commercial beer contest on Saturday called Wazoo. That meant I poured the flights, served the judges, and kept score on the beers. I was also allowed to sample each flight along with the judges but wasn't to give away the name or any info about the beer other than the style it was to be judged in. There were 250 entries.
Anyway, here are the results:

Here is a list of the best of show and category winners:

Best of Show – Steenbrugge Abbey Tripel

1st Runner Up- Franziskaner Hefeweizen

2nd Runner Up – Spaten Dunkel

What went into best of show:

Amber Lager – Paulaner Oktoberfest

Cider – Ace Hard Apple

Blonde/Light Ale – Brooklyn Summer Ale

Porter/ Stout – Terrapin Moo Hoo Chocolate

Light Lager US – Pabst Blue Ribbon

Light Lager Import - Peroni

Bitters/Browns – Dogfish Indian Brown Ale

Belgian Ale – Steenbrugge Abbey Tripel

Malt Alternative – Mike’s Hard Lemonade

Pale Ale – Dales Pale Ale

German Style - Spaten Dunkel

Spiced/Specialty/Strong – Arrogant Bastard Ale

Fruit Beer – Lindemans Framboise

Wit/Wheat – Franziskaner Hefeweizen

IPA – Stone Ruination IPA

Amber/Red Ale - Ballast Point Calico Amber

Pilsner/Craft Pale Lager – Pilsner Urquell

Draft Beers Darker Styles – Tampa Bay Brewing Whiskey Barrel Aged Moosekiller

Draft Beers Lighter Styles – Tampa Bay Brewing Mad Bavarian

The fact that a wheat beer won runner up does not inspire any confidence.

Yes, for those not familiar with contests involving technical prowess and craftsmanship in different genres within a particular discipline, it isn't which one you like best, but rather which one best exemplifies the proper traits of a particular style against which it was being judged. Otherwise it would be called "Roger tries a few beers and picks his favorite and weizens need not apply because Roger doesn't like them Contest". lol
