Actually we were completely prepared to get this working and feel it would have been a simple fix but the customer chose not to pay us to fix the problem but to start with an off-the-shelf unit.

We have no issue with Braineack, or his products other than this particular unit was not reading the TPS. We were prepared to make it work but again, customer chose not to pay us to fix it but to replace it with a brand new MS2 PnP.

I made the assumption Gary had contacted him but I guess I was wrong. My apologies on that. I know Braineack offered his email in case we had questions but it never got that far.

As for the burning, it was excessive but he wanted to get everyone's attention and that he did. We are not taking sides on this. We are just doing what is asked of us by our paying customer. Our reputation is everything to us and we did not ask to be in the middle of this internet fiasco. The bad blood between Braineack and Stoly is none of our concern.

My hopes are this will all blow over soon and we can get back to talking about the hobby we love, messing with these little roadsters.

 

To be completely honest, if I had a customer wealthy enough to feel good about needlessly destroying a $500 ECU, I'd probably try to taking sides too.
