Last thing I remember, that car made like 200 whp

 

We won't know if it's user error or not. But it seems apparent that having to think is too hard.

It could have been a few of the following:

1. TDR didn't hook up the TPS to the OEM harness correctly.
2. I didnt mod the DIYPNP for vTPS -- I dont always mod them for vTPS on 90-93 installs; I've had too many people ignore my installation instructions and not unplug the oem tps connector and wonder why the laptop wont communicate with the MS and why the car is dumping fuel. And they didn't follow up with what extra jumper wire inside the case needed to be added.
3. I DID wire it for vTPS, but I added a 1K resistor to ground on the signal inside the MS because without it the TPS signal float and the TPS% constantly increases after you start the car and can cause issues when driving, and they didnt cut it out.
4. I did wire it for vTPS, but my abortion of skills are so low that the unit is a complete POS and I fucked up so royally that the TPS just wouldn't work and no one can fix it or at least should bother to "fix" it.
5. The TPS wasn't calibrated.
6. A bad trace in the microsquirt module.


unfortunately we wont know what it is. and he obviously didnt care, he cared more about impressing his e-friends, not getting laid, and wasting money instead of asking me for support.

He reached out about 5 weeks ago asking how to hook up the TPS, I suggested that options 2 and 3 might be the case and when they hooked up the vTPS and it didn't work to follow up, but he decided against following up and decided to drag my name through mud instead.

I honestly dont care or I'd post this sort of response over there.
