About to switch from 93 octane to 87 octane with this naturally aspirated 1.8 vvt motor. Wasn't there some general rule of thumb for how much ignition advance to pull based on octane derating, or is my memory failing me?

**** going to Walmart anyways. I'd rather pay 10% more just to NOT have to go there.

Wednesday night the tv news crew was interviewing people who had been in line outside an electronics place since Saturday to save $200 on a television. I remarked how little their time must be worth financially. It must suck to only have your life be worth a couple bucks an hour. I'd gladly drop $200 to stay the night in my own home and bed versus sleeping on the sidewalk. I'd call it a convenience fee.

The local pick and pull just got in a 94 miata. Everything is 50% off this weekend. I am going to see how much of it I can strip. If anyone needs any small random bits shoot me a pm quickly and I will see if I can grab them.

I sit around the house all day long. Still waiting for my check. Someone owes me A LOT of cash for my time.

Leather and vinyl seats are the worst "luxery" statement in cars, in existence.
Pay 500-600 bucks more, sometimes a whole grand so you can either burn the living **** out of your legs and back, or freeze them off completely. I need my supra finished so I can haz cloth seats again and not my punishing lexus seats.

Just got back from the grocery store. The lady in front of me in $300 UGG boots bought $250 worth of snack food and, as I predicted, paid for it all with food stamps. Must be a great life no having to work...

Ok so how many bolts does the bell housing have. One guy said 8 and one said 11 (8 17mm's and 3 14mm's but mine are 12mm- I don't know why). I replaced my stock flywheel with an 11 lb. one and when I went to bolt up the trans I couldn't find all the bolts because my grandpa had just laid them on the floor under the car. I asked him how many we had all together when we pulled the trans and he said he never counted. This is why I asked him to put them on the bench on the diagram I started drawing. Now I don't know where any of the bolts go except the four I pulled and set on the diagram. Halp plz.

They are both correct.

Eight bolts hold the engine to the transmission, another three mount the starter. Total of eleven.

Thread diameter vs. bolt head size. Common point of confusion.

Also, my recollection is that not all of the bellhousing bolts are the same length, though I can't find a supporting reference for this at the moment.

IIRC there are two, maybe three longer bolts. My reference is doing a friends clutch about a month ago. I have no idea where said longer bolts belong.

I have long arms and can feel both your mother's cervix and all 11 bolts just by touch.

Thanks, Joe. I was thinking something along those lines, but couldn't quite put 2 and 2 together.

Why do fat chicks, and black chicks like me so much? I get hit on by them constantly, and it's annoying. I'm scared to get drunk in public anymore, scared I might get raped.
