It's a 5/16" or 3/8" ID hose. I think 3/8" TB to water neck, 5/16" water neck to water pump.

Probably 3/8 from cooler to TB.

 

At Kragen / Oreilley, you just say "I have a 1990 Miata and I need the little coolant hose that goes from X to Y", and they pull up a diagram on the computer and you point and say "that one."

 

I replace those lines with the fuel injection hose I have in my trunk. true story.

 

mine still has the paper weight brace installed, thats gotta go. im sure the job would be a pita with the brace installed.

So, in the spirit of the holiday (and because I think it's way cool), I bought a large Lego Star Wars kit. Wife told me not to, but I succumbed to impulse on my lunch hour. Got the Imperial Shuttle - you know, Darth's personal ship. Cost me 2 bills, but it's going to look so neat up on his shelf. We'll have fun building it together.

 

apparently the M i bought was supercharged at one point in its life, and has had the engine replaced (72K on both the Odometer and autocheck). the leading theory from looking at the underside of the car is somebody had it slammed and cracked the oil pan.
