exactly; I know how it works. I watch the heathens immigrate here, breed, and spread their filth throughout the area.

Just look at every county vote map in almost any election. the country is red but for major cities full of filth and ammoralism.

look how easy it is to spot: San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, and Houston on that map. Just by the blue dots. Plus it doesnt help they get all the freeloaders coming in from the South and possibly the worst public education system in the country.

Agreed. Everything west of Albany is conservative and yet the state is "liberal". All because of NYC.

Okay, Sears is just trolling me now.

Yesterday I got an email from "Shop Your Way" alerting me that I have $7 worth of reward points for Sears.com that will be expiring in 3 days if I don't use them. I figure I might as well find something cheap and have it shipped to the store for free pickup. Who doesn't need a few extra screwdrivers?

So I take a few minutes, find a 5 pack of screwdrivers that's on sale for $7.69 or something. Add it to my cart, go to the checkout page, scroll down to the section where you enter your "Shop Your Way" account number and pin to redeem points. I enter my information and click the "Redeem Points" button.

Unfortunately, we're experiencing some connectivity issues. Please try again later.

Good one, Sears. You almost got me.

Which brings up a question -

Are people trying to say that it's not fair/right or that it is wrong that all votes count equally here? I'm slightly confused as to the tangent the thread is taking.

/Serious question.
//1 person = 1 vote means that the most votes determine an election. If 10 million people live in 1/100th of the state, and 1million live in the rest of the state, the 10million will determine the results - even though they only represent 1/100th the actual geography of the state, they compose 90% of the population.

Cities over a certain size should be separate. Why should someone living 6 hours away from me be able to determine my taxes?

I agree with you, actually, Rleete, but it has nothing to do with taxes.

The reality is that policies for urban centers and rural areas are two entirely different needs. It's the same Republican/Democrat divide you see centered around urban centers vs. rural areas.

I say this for a reason. I remember back a few years ago, here in WA there was a huge fuss made about certain hunting restrictions.

The restrictions made absolute sense when applied over in the general Seattle area. But not a ******* lick of sense when applied towards the east side of the state. It would be by far better for EVERYONE in my state if the west side was split away, and the east side would be merged with Idaho. (Edit) However, this will never happen, as the west side of the state basically funds the east side of the state....sigh.

I am calling an end to the politics talk in the Ramble on thread. Lets get back to talking about things that really matter.

I am totally a boob man. Something about them being big and bouncing just does it for me.

Also everyone knows today is steak and BJ day correct. So all GF's and wives should be cooking you all a steak and giving you a BJ while eating it tonight.
