Used to work as a prep cook at a hotel in NYC. Some days we'd have to cut hundreds of onions at a time. We would move our work station into the walk in fridge, with the fans blowing in our faces. Seemed to help.

I cant even begin to describe how much I hated that movie. They even managed to make Angelina seem unattractive and annoying.

Or, for that matter, how Matthew Lillard seems to possess an amazing talent for destroying any movie in which he appears.

Yeah, I'll be blind by the time I'm 50, anyway. I already have a corneal injury that isn't fully healed from running into a cluster of young firm pine needles eye first. It hurt for days, and still occasionally hurts if I touch or rub my eye. Most people would have gone to the doctor for such a thing, but I couldn't afford it, and I am too stubborn and stupid for such things. I'm tough on a body, then I ignore treatment. My own fault. I'll pay for it all one day, though I really already am (knees, shoulders, hip, eyes, nasal issues, wisdom teeth ******* things up).

Since you're such a chef, start cooking meth to afford some medical care.

HACK THE PLANET

Did you know hacking programs usually have a 3D GUI where you have to play some sort of game and dodge a literal wall of fire?
The 1980s taught me this fact.

EDIT:
I cant believe that movie came out in '95

Why oh why isn't the Prince Polo candy bar popular and widely available here in the states? It's a brilliant candy bar. Probably my favorite. Light and delicate, yet full of coconut and white chocolate flavor.

I think you answered your own question.

Well, yeah. Back in the '80s, the literal wall of fire was represented in ASCII graphics.

Coconut is delicious, so go kill yourself.

WHY, out of all of the computer parts I don't throw away, I pick the ones I actually need to apparently toss in the trash. I have OLD cases, ancient PATA/IDE HDD's, old mobos, processors, a lot of pre Pentium II ****, floppy drives, ect. Out of all of that ****, I throw away my little hdd cages that go with my current case. Got my new drive today, pull of the side panel to install it, and see that I apparently thought they looked bad installed, so I took them out. Can't find them, so they must be long gone. Now i have a drive and no way to mount it without replacing one of the existing drives. I think I'm just going to ghetto that **** and take an old drive cradle and put it in the bottom of the case and screw the drive to it.

I have 4 or 5 IDE HDDs in a stack. No idea why I have not thrown them away.

I think at one point I was thinking of taking the platters out and building a Tesla turbine

I have 14 SCSI and maybe 10 or so IDE. Does that make me a hoarder?

Somebody apparently stole the picture of the hunk on Friday. I was told it had been taped to the inside of the door of the bathroom stall in the mechanics' bathroom. It is no longer there.

Oh for **** sake, glorious day. I was just awoken after an hour of sleep to go retrieve my grandmothers car. She was crossing the street going from the grocery store to her car and a drunk Mexican with no license, who was going way too fast according to witnesses, hit her. Not much info yet, but she looks pretty bad, both legs shattered, and some minor head trauma. But nothing is minor to a frail 80 year old woman. What else does this day have for me! I thought the computer issue was stressful enough...

*****. I hope she recovers. Based on my family experience, if she walks again unassisted it will be a major win. Good luck.

I feel powerless to help, Jesse, but I will pray for your grandmother. I hope she recovers miraculously.

I missed you at the lake this year.
