Hey guys! I haven't been around in a long while... since before the pretty slick website re design. My miata is sadly at home, with a broken diff mount (been like that for over a year). Imma be at PITT for a couple years now, so not sure when it will be up and running again. Plus it got backed into, so now my grandfather owes me a new front quarter panel haha. Poor car... I wish I had it with me.

But, I got an itch for something fun... and ended up finding this: (yeah, the pictures blow)








1998 Suzuki Katana 600 w/ 19500 miles. Got it for $1350 with the Yoshi slip on. Just needs a new chain and tires.

This is my first bike, so I am real excited for above 45 degree weather. So far I have a Joe Rocket atomic 4.0 jacket, Scorpion exo-400 helmet, leather gloves with a CF knuckle (shift), and knee/shin under-armor.

So do the bike people here have any advice for me? I plan on taking the free MSF class in March.

Get some riding boots, don't have to be race boots or even boots made for riding but get something that will protect your ankles. My roomate wore his ankle to the bone laying it down in improper shoes.

 

Nice bike. I'm working in Oakland now so keep an eye out for a black '94 with a silver hardtop.
