My thumb. GM Racing raw cast cylinder head. Finger bigger than exhaust ports. Intake ports are even smaller. Funny.

I'm trying to look cool but it doesn't work after Kelly post stuff of things at his work

Looks like a cylinder head core ready for machining.

You don't need absurdflow with DEI.

Why wasn't DEI mentioned in Corky's Book?

Please forgive the n00bness, but what the heck is DEI?

Also, is that just a raw head that will get machined? Do the ports get benchflow tested? I was curious about this stuff as I've ported some exhaust manifolds for Subarus.

DEI is short for direct exhaust injection. Something someone on some other forum thought was the bestest thing he created even though it physically was impossible, etc. See newbsauce's avaitar, he took it from the guys illustrations.

Yes it's a raw head that will get machined. No I do not think they get flowbench tested. They get put on an engine dyno and see if they make more power than another port design.

Oh yeah...was that the n00b that thought routing exhaust gases into the engine (not just blending w/ fresh air) would be super efficient?
