Saab 9-2x
So I got rear ended on my bike and its most likely going to be totalled and with the state of my miata I want something reliable and a rebadged wrx would be awesome although my budget is going to be around 6k. From what I've seen its gonna be at or over 100k miles. I know a lot of guys here drive subies so I thought I'd get y'alls opinions on the reliability factor.

looks like that's about the going rate: http://www.cars.com/for-sale/searchr...RM&enableSeo=1
considering that site only has 47 of them online at all, again makes me say: good luck.

I was recently DD shopping and spent a month looking all over the country for a good 92x at a reasonable price. Experienced the same problem with a 5 speed 4wd Honda Element and the 04-05 GLI Jetta. Finally got a GLI. IF you're not in a hurry, you can find one. I missed out on 2 nice 92-xs by a couple of days each. You have to look constantly and be willing to make a trip.

Why get a Saab 9-2x over a WRX Wagon?
How about cheaper insurance, that's a good reason.
Nicer interior? Also good.
Good luck finding something for $6k...most of the WRXs I see in that price range are 2002s and 2003s with lots of miles and are pretty beat. No way you're going to find a 5mt 2006 92x for anywhere near that much. I looked pretty hard for a few months and was unable to ever find a '06 MT. The '05s are a bit easier to come by, but again $6k isn't really enough...

You can however, get a decent Saab:

If you want a Subaru, get a Subaru. If you want a Saab, get a Saab. Don't get the bastard child of the two.
