'Loaning' is implying that it is to be returned. Probably with a beer or six as interest. Sounds not so much like socialism!

I don't want to borrow your tools, I want you to give them to me because you have more than I do. More than that, I am entitled to your tools. So, give me your tools now. I don't care if your livelihood depends on them. I don't care how hard you have worked to buy them, that isn't my concern.

Please package them nicely and overnight them to me.

I agree, truth means different things to different people. Some people think that what the mainstream media puts out is the gospel truth. Most of it sounds like it's from one planet past Neptune. Ok, cheap shot.

Truth should be based on facts, not feelings or misconceptions(lack of experience and knowledge).

Example:
I have a pet peeve about engineers who look down upon technicians. I equally hate technicians who look down upon engineers. Both are ignorant.

Applying this to cars - The person who I would want designing cars is the automotive/mechanical engineer who has been elbow deep in grease all his life. The tech only cares what makes his job easier and cusses at the engineers w/o knowing the cost/technology/regulation issues that the designers are constrained to. The engineer thinks that they know what the tech's issues are but in reality they have no idea unless they have once been down in the (grease) pits.

Applying this to politics - those who live in the educational environment tend to be unconsciously elitist, which is the worst type.
