I got an email from Audi about setting up a test drive for the 2018 RS3. I went ahead and went to their website to check out the configurator.

I noticed the Dynamic Package includes wider tires on the front than the rear (unless typo?), I know the VW/Audi AWD systems tend to be FWD biased, but I don't think I can remember ever seeing a car with wider front tires than rear?

Brought my new toy on Wednesday and drove it up to MATG on my way home...

Happy as hell with it.

So, now your build thread title should be "Got tired of everyone thinking I'm gay, bought a CTS-V2 again"

Wagons cost too much for what they are. Getting a manual was a requirement for me, so yeah.. this manual sedan cost less than half of what manual wagons are selling for.. Even an auto wagon would've been another easy $12k+ more than what I paid for the sedan. I couldn't justify it, but yes wagons are baller.

$29k is what we settled at

screaming deal for a Manual Sedan with 66k and 750whp that can comfortably seat 5 IMO.. i was getting 10 mpg on the tail, and 17mpg hwy with it during the majority of the 1600 miles i put on it in the last 4 days

I'm back to stupid ideas again.

I'm thinking BMW M2 w/DCT, or lightly used Cayman S (981) w/PDK.

No point in the SS 1LE of the GT350 if it's only going to go to the track a few times per year.

I drove one before I snagged my 335 and was really underwhelmed. It wasn't slow persay, but for 550 on tap it wasn't nearly the thrill I had anticipated. It also felt rather "boat-like" for lack of a better term. The stench of covered up cigarette smell wasn't pleasing either. Were my expectations too high, or does it sounds like I test drove a poor example?

No to PDK!

I don't understand the logic here. Emilio says the GT350 drives fine in all conditions... and then rapes on track.

MY '18 has had production halved, so above MSRP markups will become norm for the country, not just above MSRP in California, by the time I'm ready to buy.

What is your timeline? I live in the middle of nowhere and I have 3 '17's within a 100 miles.

Not until spring at this point, I need to recover from buying the house (and everything that goes with that) and then let my first round of RSU's vest from my sign-on bonus.
