What do you guys think of the G37 Sport

My 540i doesn't do that, but it does something equally annoying:
- doesn't respond to throttle blips when rev matching a downshift - I have to step then wait a bit, then it revs to the moon, making it nearly impossible to rev-match smoothly.
I think the 540i did that so that when you step on the gas in-gear, it smooths out the lurch. Why they didn't differentiate a situation when you're in neutral, **** knows.

At least thats better than the 2013 wrx/sti. You CANNOT apply any meaniful throttle when the brake is pressed. Hey mother ******* this is a mother ******* rally car how the **** do you moher ******* left foot brake when the mother ******* unintended acceleration nanny doesn't let you. ****.

Your complaint has to do with emissions reduction, by slowing down the rate at which the throttle closes.

Mine does the same thing you describe as well. There is a sizable delay when blipping. I got used to it after I over shot my intended RPM several times but I was truly expecting for DBW to be at least as good as a regular pedal. It's definitely got a mind of its own.
This is the first DBW manual car I have driven and even before now I had preconceived notions of potential problems with DBW with a manual. Not having actually read about any complaints I figured it was just me over analyzing. But I am very surprised.
Yes I can get used to it, but seriously?

1200 miles later I can't find a single thing to complain about. Well maybe the seat. It's a little narrow for me. I am hoping it will break in a bit with time or my *** gets smaller.
320 miles between fillups runs me $75 which is still hard to get used too but worth every penny.
