Look, there's this attitude here, I'm sure Savington will agree, that anything dumb or ignorant posted on m.net is something to be celebrated. I never said it's "anyone's responsibility". I'm just pointing out the mentality of "haha, look at that dumb guy" is far less productive than typing a one-liner reply to nudge the guy in the right direction. You know, light a candle, instead of cursing the dark or celebrating someone else's darkness.

If being an ignorant makes one a loser, does that mean because you don't understand say, power electronics design, that makes you a loser?

Jason the loser classification was so that the thread would get attention. Instead of hating on me why not read what i wrote to the poor soul on there. My advice is helpfull and constructive. If you don't chill we can take this out side. Forgive me if i use the bullshit section to try and draw attention to individuals who obviusly need our help in the hope that, someone local will be like dude check out my **** i will show you what your money can buy and help you make a better decission. You don't have a local listed but i bet it is Canada, and you probably have drift somewhere in your username 2 strikes for bannage in the Phillip G days.
FWIW here is my post in the thread the very first one and i continue to support these options throughout.

All in all it is alot more work and $ than just getting a begi/FM kit 150K miles on a healthy motor is perfectly fine to boost. Please don't throw your money away.
To recap
Motor same
Tranny same
Diff Same.
Benefit only a headache and empty wallet.
Try reading the ******* thread next time. You strike me as someone who just browses the titles without ever cracking a book, heres a secret the good stuff is inside.

if it was going to cause me to make a poor decisions because i didn't understand power electronics design? Yes.

Ya know whats more effective than telling people what to do? Lead by example.

Oh you mean like what I did here:
https://www.miataturbo.net/forum/sho...ighlight=dwell

magna, you're right, I wasn't sure if you started the "loser" thread before giving him advice.

You know what I think a loser is? Someone who is selfish and believes the way to get ahead is to deprive others of gains - perhaps by withholding information that would save another person money or time, and gloating over that fact.

magna - I'm not necessarily talking about you seeing that you did help the other guy out.

I don't think anyone asked. But thank you.

Not sure who got ahead here or gloated but whatever.

You know, the fact that he posted on m.net means he wanted opinions. That makes him far from a loser in my mind.

The way e-cool is being marketed, OTOH....
