What type of wire is this? Looks nice and flexible. The stuff I use is stranded but always stiff (from HD).

It's probably automotive grade wire encased in silicone instead of plastic. It most likely also has a higher number of finer strands of individual copper wire.

It's 20 or 22awg copper stranded wire. Try radioshack instead of HD.

You're funny.

Try Digi-Key or Mouser or somewhere that sells wire with a brand name.

You want multi stranded PVC jacket. or if you a real baller, you want silver plated copper stranded in teflon jacket. like the military uses.
