I disagree though, there are lots of things that make men and women different and similar. its two totally different sex roles. Some men do the alpha thing, and women want those dude's to impregnate them. The other guys are pussies and raise the children while the women do whatever they want.

There's a short book you can bootleg called Secrets of the Alpha Male and its a good, short read that's a fantastic wake-up call. Some of us are the gazelle, some are the lion. Do you want to eat or be eaten? Or you going to go out there and get girls by not putting up with their ****...or are you going to follow me up? I've been the bitch and I'm not doing it again.

 

You know what's funny. When she first moved in, I seriously took the hit several times and I guess was kind of a bitch in the relationship. After a while though, I stopped putting up with it and was actually kind of an ******* and that seemed to work better. It seriously seems like women A) want someone to push them around and keep them in line But Also B) be all emotional and what not with them. They want 2 complete oposite things from the same person. She really just has a way of working me, I let my gaurd down with her. That won't happen again. I'm not going to be the bitch in any future relationships. With everything else in my life I'm a leader not a follower...and in no way should that be any different in the relationship world. BTW, I'm going to look into that book, sounds like an interesting read.

I fought for years and years to shift my thinking. However, I managed to come full circle and not compromise my integrity by invoking my personality into the mix. That book helped me realize that if I don't put forth effort to fix my perspective delivered by my mother and sister telling me "what women wanted," then i was going to live a lonely life. I've also managed to double my salary and professional responsibility since learning how to be a man for the first time in my life (not e-thugging, seriously).

that is the tough part. Once your out of school your social circle greatly diminishes. You could also try meetup.com My GF's sister met her current BF through a meetup for something they were both interested in. It wasn't even geared towards singles.
I think the most important thing though is that you focus on yourself for a while and what you want out of life. Women always come once you stop looking for them in my experience.

I realized this after I got married...I can't even get on a bus now without some girl wanting to talk to me. It's probably because I'm not looking for them with desperate eyes, and all they see is a confident, intent guy that ISN'T looking at them -something they want-.

Stay busy, focus on yourself, and things will shape up. Own your life. My wife came out of the blue. I was going to school in the morning, working night shift, and working out in between. This was 5 days a week of school, 6 days a week of work and gym. I didn't even have time for girls. One found me, and she turned out to be great. I attribute this to the fact that she saw what I was doing to advance myself, and wanted to be a part of that. She turned out to be just as strong of a person (maybe stronger).

The last girl I had "looked for" before her turned out to be some psycho bitch that tried to kill herself by overdosing on some anti-depressants while she was away at school. Stay away from the crazies, keep moving towards what YOU want out of life. Someone that is walking that SAME path will bump into you along the way.

 

Well, I went bar hoping last night and met plenty of girls. One in particular I'm hoping to do something tomorrow with. I just needed to get out of the house last night. Too depressing moving into this new place all alone and ****, needed to have some fun.
