Don't think I'll every buy a built upper. After pricing everything it would take to build/buy a 300blk, I got exactly the parts I wanted for less than every quality built upper out there that wasn't what I wanted.

Will be posting pics and what-nots in a month or so. AR-Stoner barrel and DPMS slickside receiver. Total about $350 sans optics and BCG/CH... plus it's gonna look small B-cups slathered in baby oil. Yeaaaaah.

Palmetto is getting **** on all over the internet right now. If I read between the lines correctly, they're back-logged about 6 weeks across the board, and not even pretending to stop taking orders or update wait times. There is going to be a ****-ton of jumping ship from places like that when the election/holiday rush hits and the entire country is COMPLETELY OUT of everyting AR15.

SRSLY... I predict within the next month, you're gonna start seeing the effects, and by early November, there will be nothing "in stock" anywhere unless you've got $1500 for a used Olympic Arms POS. Buy now while **** is still cheap and plentiful.

All the numbers FICS numbers and estimates currently point to Nov/Dec both being 2million guns per month for sales.

No, that's me wanting my "investment" back. I bought the gun the day the ban was voted on. Paid something like $1800, direct from Colt. It's a match-grade competition model (blue label), brand new in the box. I'd like one to shoot, but shooting this one just drops the value.

I'd love to trade it in for several cheaper guns, but I can't find anything I like.

Yup, way back then. When we called, the lady said that they were the last two in stock. She said the ban vote was the best thing to happen to them in years.

I now fear I will never get my money out of this gun. So, I decided I might as well shoot it and enjoy it.

Where do you get quality ammo in bulk? I'm talking good stuff, not steel cased crap. Sportsman's guide is sold out, and I'm damned if I'll buy it 20 rounds at a time.

Shoot steel cases stuff. Ignore dumbasses who bitch about it. I've fired thousands of rounds through my beater 6920 and I've only ever had one FTE.

Knock on wood, but my cheap *** has fired steel from all my guns, no issues and very few jams or missfires.

I was shooting my Marlin .22 a couple of weeks ago. The cheap Tasco scope (which was free 20 years ago) is fogged so bad as to be worse then useless. So, I need a new one. Any recommendations? Just grab a $30 special from someplace?

I also want to get something for the AR. Keep in mind I'm colorblind, so lasers and reddots are out. Somthing on sale at SG, or go get a name brand?

Oh, and djp? I hate you.

Not gonna happen. I'm cheap, remember? 200-300 bucks for a scope is about 100-150 more than I'm gonna spend.
