bought a 1948 mosin M44 nagant. 100 bucks.

Lightly used, crisp, sharp rifling, only slight surface under stock from russian crate storage (easily rubbed off), original bluing, crisp machining markings, fresh stamps, no dents or scratches in wood stock, and no baked on russian lubrication grease in chamber.

Polished the bolt, replaced the BEAUTIFUL stock for a synthetic stock, put a AIMS large eye relief scope and rail kit on it, bi-pod, and a muzzle brake for another 130 bucks.

Also had the original bayonet, but I had to remove it for the muzzle brake.

Damn, that looks sic. I did that to mine recently, but didnt look as cool as yours. Mine are on posts #3794 &3795

You should be. I'm jealous. I kind of want to sell my 3" SP101 and get the new 4.2" SP101 with adjustable sights.

Had my Remington 700 SPS 20" for about a month now... broke it out the other day to give it an initial cleaning and to size the chamber to start loading.

I filled up the mag a few times and ran about 10rds through it... then looked in the chamber and it was full of little brass curly-q's. Whatever monkey was running the cnc machine the day my receiver was made forgot to round the edges of the feed lips and the feedramp looks like it was shaped with the pry end of claw-hammer.

A quick call to Remington landed me a shipping tag and a free trip back to the factory. Deer season is a month away and I won't have my rifle... pissed.

On the other hand, picked up a Dillon RL550b and all the goodies for my 4 main calibers... been tumbling/sizing/priming a ton of brass in the past week.

I have one of these. Quite possibly my favorite pistol to shoot. And I have shot some cool pistols including a 5-7 and deagle.

I've been at it a few weeks and am already out of room... actually have needed my own "gun room" for a few years now, but it'll have to wait until the kids move out.

Anyways... Dillon RL550b with all the assemblies for 9mm/.45acp/.223/.308/7mmMauser/.300winmag, RapidTrimmer motor assembly, SuperSuage 600, low-primer warn, round counters, Midway large tumbler, Dillon scale and calipers, heaspace and case gauges, plus tons of random items, plus boxes and storage stuff.

I bought it all from a longtime family friend who moved from Nevada to Cali and had to sell all his Class3 stuff... didn't need anymore bulk reloading capability. I scored everything for $1k, well under 50% market value. This is stuff I'll have for the rest of my life, and it's all top-quality stuff.

Been prepping brass and have a couple thousand cases ready for powder. I've got about 15k primers on hand that I've managed to pick up, but pretty much everybody is back in stock on those unless you need something specific. Bullets are plentiful online, and stores around here have limited stock, but "in stock" nonetheless. STILL NO POWDER. I managed to score a 2lbs of IMR4895 for my .30cal stuff, but pistol powder is nowhere to be found.

Still, looking back on my predictions, I was 100% right. AR's are now down to exactly pre-Newtown prices, popular ammo is still about 20% high, with .22lr being about 100% high (Walmart has never raised prices), but there's plenty of it.

In any case, I shouldn't ever again have to buy another centerfire cartridge in a store for the rest of my life... money spent on reloading equipment is worth every penny.

Anything below 80% retail on dillons and supplies is a GREAT deal. i love my 650.

I wanted to get in on the page full of wheel-guns. There is a noticeable lack of single-actions here. This a .357 Blackhawk with a 9mm 2nd cylinder. Being able to run 357, 38S, and 9mm makes it pretty easy to scrounge up ammo.

I did not know you could get 9mm cyls for those... been eyeing a Vaquero in .357 for years now.

Pic of my workbench below... see, already out of room.

And just to continue the awesomeness... if you don't have a few of these laying around for a rainy day, this is tough to beat... 3 of these would be under $200 shipped, and find an FFL who cuts deals on multiple transfers... like $20 for the 1st and $10 for each additional... great stuff to stash away if you're so inclined.

^ OOS.

We have a local shop who came in and has completely blown the market open. They do $10 FFL transfers. We were plagued with our local shops overcharging and gouging (even before all the mess). During the stampede for items, every shipment they got in went half online at marked up price and the other half on their store shelves at their normal rates for locals.

Looks like a M1A internal assembly, not sure though...

...as cool as it is, I wouldnt like to sport fire .338 lapua based on the price compared to ballistic performance.

All i have is this... The door towards the center rear of the pic with the little windows is his shop. The whole log cabin painted side of that area is all a gun workshop. They are friends with the guy who paints all the Bass Pros, so he gave them a crazy awesome deal on their whole house.

WTF is that? Dude, I gotta hate. That thing is absurd. The .338 craze is a fad that will end soon. Even for a toy, it's a bit lame. Really, a semi-auto .338LM with a red-dot and no muzzle-break, sold under the guise that it's a CQB gun??? Remind your grandpa to schedule his shoulder surgery, and make sure he gets that thing into consignment before the hype wears off and everybody wants to dump theirs.

I speak from experience, having just spent the entire week with a Desert Tactical SRS-A1, that the .338LM round is a bad-ass long distance bomber. After morning of loading and working up dope, we put about 10rds under 12" at 1280yds, almost putting holes in 3/8" plate. I'll get a picture.

On the other hand, my buddies off-the-shelf W70 in .300wm was shooting just as tight at 1000yds with blind handloads... pissed off my first buddy to no end that his $8000 .338 was neck and neck with $700 20 year old wood-stock deer gun.
