Looks like the FSAE cars will be no-shows. They stripped a brake bleeder in one of them (dumbasses) and split the radiator on the other one Saturday, which severely interrupted my day when they needed it hauled back to the shop 3 hours earlier than expected.

Edit- Everybody let me know if you're around Friday for some boozin'. Iron Hill Brewery would be the spot. It will be warm, which means all the college chicks will be in minimal attire.

Stickers and pizzas, **** YEAH! I'm dyno'in if my MS issues are corrected or not! Oh yeah, also, this dude at work gave me that T-3 from a Saab 900 still bolted to the turbine elbow and the manifold, said he wants like $50 for it all, just in case anybody is interested.

That's really tempting, just as a spare in case my turbo ***** the bed. How many miles are on it? How does it look?

lolz, my Miata hasn't been started since October. I picked up a battery for it today.

Edit: ... Didn't get the battery in. Stuff came up.

Still iffy here. I have a Honda I need to MS. Should have most of it done Friday, I'll talk to him about finishing Sunday instead.

Yay! 40% chance of rain Saturday! :(

For those coming from the south, I'm guessing you'll want to take the Elkton Road (109B) exit to get to ACA rather than the Rt. 896 exit to avoid the extravagant toll between the two (I think it's $4 or so). From Elkton Road, you can either take Otts Chapel Road to Old Baltimore Pike, or go up to Route 4 (Christina Parkway/Chestnut Hill Road) to Rt. 72 to Old Baltimore Pike.

I say this because cops have been out in force lately in a few areas along these routes. Have to fill out the budget and all that. Specifically they tend to sit in the driveways to the Chrysler plant on Route 4, a couple places along Elkton Road, and Otts Chapel road at the first intersection or two. The rest of Otts Chapel and Old Baltimore Pike are *usually* cop free, but no promises. I95 between DC/Baltimore is swarmed with cops.

I'm not sure if my car will be 100% by then. I wouldn't count me in for the dyno just yet. Ill still come either way, but it might be in the slow one.

Got my Miata started today! Didn't actually move it anywhere, but I put the battery in and got it started up. It doesn't seem to want to catch idle coming down in RPM, and I didn't want to mess around with it. Whatever. It'll make it to the dyno. Just glad I didn't do anything incredibly stupid and blow it up. Looks like I'll be bringing a friend too.

It's now up to 60% for newark, DE. It seems like it's always shitty weather when we go there, then it clears up in the afternoon. Is this still on if it rains?

Last time there was rain, they almost didnt let us dyno. They thought the wet tires would slip on the dyno. But thankfully it cleared up and we all dyno'd.

Well, at least the updated forecast is thunderstorms. They come and go, rather than the steady downpour we have now.

There is an outbreak of swine flu 'round these parts, though...
