Interesting that the camera man on that one corner has so much experience filming there that he knows when a car is entering the corner too hot and stays with it.

Sadly, and as if anyone needed any reminder, here's another perfect testimony as to why you don't get out of your car on track - let alone walk across the track to confront someone.

Taunting cars to hit you is pretty dumb, whether it is on the interstate, race track, or local highway.

Yep, and particularly so if you're wearing a black racing suit with a black helmet and standing in the middle of a black dirt track AT NIGHT.

As tragic as it is, I can't help but think there was a lot of Darwinism at play here.

I'm confused. Why was he not in his car?

He was ticked and wanted to fight. He lost . . . instantly!

I actually have a little trouble saying it was tragic in my own mind. It would have been tragic if a wheel had come off and killed a kid in the stands. Demonstrating bravado and arrogance in the face of a mortal danger and getting your dick knocked in the dirt is pretty predictable.

Getting out of your car and taunting racers because you have been "wronged" in some way is a learned behavior.

True enough.

I guess I just looked at the facts that he only just turned 20 years old a couple months ago, had pretty much just been bullied (run) into the wall by Stewart, and undoubtedly still had his adrenaline pumping at full tilt as a consequence. Under those circumstances, I'd have to be honest and say I actually may have been stupid enough to do the same when I but a 'teenager'. I'm not saying what he did wasn't totally suicidal, just that I can see how he may have gotten there. Such a waste.

Stewart is of course famously guilty of the same type of behavior.

This guy has the patience of a saint. Bad drivers all throughout, but at 3:30 when he gets stuck behind a C63 for the rest of the video....Merc brake checks several drivers, almost loses his back-end several times, and doesn't wave him through several times as well.

That just looks like a guy who should be in an intermediate to advanced run group that is participating in a beginner group. Traffic like that happens in the HPDE 1&2 run groups at Sebring on the first two sessions of every single track weekend. I was actually fairly impressed by the number of point-by's he received in a timely fashion.

I'd agree if it wasn't for his video description.

Not what I've come to expect from the Advanced run group.

"Here, have some aero bro you are gonna need it!"

Love it

*edit* but honestly, it seems like it was all in good fun but I don't have any experience to say otherwise. Is that a pretty dick move? I can't help but laugh when I see it.

I like when he brake checks him after he finally lets everyone pass after the porsche driver honks at him.

Both of these Subarus got very very lucky. Yellow flag occurs...well, just watch.

@1:30 is a good starting point
