Default Alternator Control in Rev MS3

My MS3 Enhanced from Rev is tuning nicely now that I incorporated the AFR table into VE Analyze Live. It starts, runs and pulls nicely.

I'd like to use the alternator control in the MS3 to disable the alternator output until 5 seconds after the car starts.

In my tune, alternator control is currently disabled. It looks like turning the alternator control to "on-off", then change the idle up time from 3 seconds to 5 seconds should be all I need.

Is this the right way to go about doing this?

there's literally a parameter in the code called "Start Delay(s)"

Is Reverant even using the built in alternator code? I thought he handled the alternator with his own circuitry.

Sorry, that's what I meant, not "idle up".

I'm just wondering if there is anything else that needs to be considered before turning this on.

The Enhanced MS3 has its own alternator control, including electrical load idle-up. No, there's no option for an afterstart delay for the alternator control. Do you have any issues with it?

No, no issues at all. Was just getting a bit slower of an initial firing on cranking than on stock, so I was troubleshooting to see if the alternator load was causing it.
