As far as i know it was unused. The turbo was used but the MS2 was supposedly new, he said it was modified by Reverent, he sent me this thread about it https://www.miataturbo.net/group-buy...90-05-a-60486/

I'm not 100% sure on the details but this is what he told me

Have you tried PMing Reverent? If it was indeed done by him, he is really helpful and knows the mods inside and good probably give you a base map that would work.

Spark A output MUST be D14 for Miata ignition. MUST MUST MUST

There you go!

You will most likely have to play around with ASE to keep it running. Can you make it stay running by giving it a little bit of throttle?

Is the fuel pump still running after the car starts? I am assuming you have removed the AFM, right?

Ill try messing with the ASE. The car will not idle and playing with the throttle makes no difference in keeping it running, always dies after 2-3 seconds when it does light off. As far as i can tell the pump is still running when it dies, but im going to be upgrading the fuel lines and pump this week sometime(i have all the parts in, Walbro 190HP and AN fittings and fuel line)

The reason I am saying that is because the fuel pump is controlled by MS2, however there is a certain changes needed to the car to make the fuel pump still run after the car starts. I don't have a Miata, and have only put DIYPNP on Miatas, so not going to hand feed that one to you.

You seriously need to do some search and read more about this. You can't just put it in and expect someone on internet to draw every single step of it for you. Perhaps someone can enlighten you about the fuel pump and what you need to do. I know with the DIYPNP you need to remove the ST fuse. But not sure what Reverent does internally and what you require. Changing your fuel lines and pump doesn't help if there is no power going to it.

I understand that replacing the fuel pump wont fix an issue with the megasquirt but it does eliminate the possibility of the pump having issues( i dont know how old the pump is), also if this megasquirt gets to annoying ill just go the FMU route, which i dont like but i have everything for it.

It may be hard to believe this but i have spent well over 100hrs in the past few months trying to figure this out by doing research and reading tutorials, etc. Its like i said in my first post, im not good with electronics and only learn really by someone showing me what to do. I bought this megasquirt because all the stuff i read before about it made it sound like it was almost just plug-n-play, set ignition and it starts up and you start tuning, but now i know that is not the case.

I'm also the type that I dont ask for help until i am literaly about to smash what im working on. Ive been trying to get this fixed but 2 or 3 months apparently is all i can take.

Also its not that i dont know how to tune, for my senior design project we modified a water brake dyno and built a custom intake and exhaust for an engine to into a FSAE car

No, i decided to go a different route for the time being. Im running a begi fmu, supra 305cc injectors, and staying at 5psi for now. I only want to autocross the car and 5psi is all i really need i found out this weekend.

I will be getting another miata soon that i will try and get everything to work on first before i try megasquirt on my DD again
