Okay once again my little non electrical mind is left in the dark. I've had the megasquirt in my 1995 miata for right around a week and I'm still trying to figure out how in the world the wled circuit works for my fans. Documentation just says "connect the headers to the appropriate pins". I have dug through every single forum I can and it's all the same. "Just hook up the wled circuit to the fan wire in the adapter board" Well that certainly helps. How does the wled circuit work? Is it a grounding circuit or a "hot" circuit. pictures of a fan circuit would be very appreciated. I am no genius when it comes to these things but I did put the board together so I guess I have luck on my side.

 

If you have a pnp2, wled and the other output were renamed output 1 and 2, if that helps. They’re both grounding circuits for relays usually.

 

thanks for your input. Well now that I know they are grounding circuits do they simply just go the "fan control wire" on the adapter board. Could I test the output before wiring it via ohm it out when its supposed to be on.

 

my board is a 1.5b diypnp from diyautotune. Is the wled right beside the tuning input cable. It says wld and ald plus alot of other relays and inputs. Is that where the wire would go from the adapter board.
