Default DIYPNP, Launch control - how to ?

Hey,

I use a DIYPNP and I would like to activate the launch control option.

What do I need to do ?

Minimum you need a switch wiring in to activate it. Mine uses the clutch switch.

I also use VSS to disable it above 10mph, so during hard driving it doesn't accidentally become engaged during a gearchange.

for launch i'd do 1L into input 2 IN, then input 2 OUT to FLEX.

that's it.



for you idle question in PM, all you need to makre sure is that you have 4Q to IAC. and you shoudl have installed a diode on the IAC jumper by where you added the VR and OP- pull ups on the bottom right side of the board.

thats it.

Ok, thanks, I'll make the launch control ready asap.

About the closed-loop PID IAC tune, it is working just needs a little tune.

It is a 1997 miata

Is that pretty much universal across PNP's regardles of 1.6 or 1.8? I was going to set mine up soon as well.
