Diypnp startup map needed
1990 1.6 map needed for firmware version 3.3.3 the map from diyautotune is for and older version and loads with 45 errors. I tried the map but car won't start. Is anyone willing to help me out with a startup map for the newest forwards? Stock injectors with maf removed using gm Iat sensor. I'm hoping it's just a software issue but can't say for sure until I get a known good map.
I feel your pane sergmann ... i too have a ms2 i do not know if it is working right and cant fine where the trouble is i get my car to start but it runs like crap and i make changes to the map and it dose not change how it runs or it freeze up the program on the PC lol
i was hoping I could get a map from someone that was working in a car. I understand tuning will be needed for my application but thought there are enough people here running MS that could possibly help. If someone is willing to help great. If not I'll keep working through it.
You have a map from a working car and it does not work on your car. You need to fine tune it to work with your car, getting a tune from someone else isn't going to do you any good.
I'm thinking now that it is not. I double checked the high side driver circuit and all is well. I did forget to pull the fuse at first but it's out now and still no dice. Any suggestions on getting the fuel pump to run?
You blew up the transistor that powers the fuel pump if you ever powered the car without the fuse removed. You have to jump it manually at the AFM or replace the transistor in the MS.
Looks like I have fried something on the fuel pump circuit but there are no obvious component failure of failed traces on the board. Which transistor is used for fuel pump control?
MX-5 Unleashed - Mega Squirt PNP installation instruction for Eunos or miata
Did you remove this? Also, did you flash the ecu with the ignition module disconnected?

Run the Fuel pump output to 4O then just jump two pins in the AFM.

I never run the High Side Circuit--too many people fail to pull the fuse and burn up the transistor.
