First Drive on Base Map... have questions
Hello,
I have a MS3PNP I recently installed. It's on the diyautotune 99-00' basemap running MAP on a AEM UEGO wideband 02 sensor/controller. I'm currently stock, except I fabbed up a turbo kit/exhaust for it. I have my idle control settings on open loop (what the basemap had it as) and the EGO control set to "simple" and use authority table "off." I'm using "incorporate AFR target 14.7." My AFR target table is from the base map and pretty conservative as well as the timing spark map. I'm not sure if these settings will be acceptable for a drive around the block. Should I switch my idle control setting to "closed-loop" before I go out and drive around the block, or keep them how they are as open loop in idle settings?
My crank, start, warm up, and idle are great at the moment (base map settings).
Do you recommend I change anything at this point, and just drive it down the street and start Tune Analyze Live? I understand TuneAnalyzeLive will start doing it's thing once it reaches operating temperature, but
I wasn't sure if the above settings I have are acceptable (or need to be changed).
Id like to be able to drive it around the street for a few months without going into boost at all, and then in a few months go get it tuned at a dyno.
Thanks

Get your base map from Trubokity.com not diy.
EDIT: may be issues with how the PNP is wired, as far as routings go. You'd have to check that. But as far as functional settings (tables and the like) I'd start with TK.com base maps. Perhaps @Braineack can tell you if his .msq will load straight into the PNP, or if you must copy / paste the tables and curves.

Thank you,
I'll just copy and paste the Trubokitty spark map and fuel maps and implement the same values in the tables of my current 99-00' diyautotune PNP base map. I already have my car started and running on the MS3PNP diyautotune base map.
I did notice the trubokitty map looks like it has a safer ignition map. It would be nice if I can transfer all the accel enrichment and PID/closed-loop idle settings as well since I'm sure they're different than the PNP base map (which uses a open-loop idle and has it's own accel enrichment).
