My tip in settings are definitely off right now. Here is a datalog of me idling and just hitting the gas. I will be doing some reading about tip in settings tomorrow but if anyone wants to take a look and give me some pointers it would be greatly appreciated.

It will happen in the future. Got a lot or other things these next couple of weekends. 6 speed goes in this weekend and then easter the following weekend. So maybe the weekend after that I will figure out what all needs to be done to get sequential going.

Quite probable.

Your VE table probably isn't dialed in yet. No use in playing with enrichments until after the VE table is nailed.

I spent about 45min road tuning this afternoon and it made a lot of changes. I plan on driving more this weekend and tuning it even further.

Now onto the negatives. Tonight as I was going out to my friends house I started having problems with my MS3. My tach started falling randomly and it felt like I was not getting spark. It got so bad that if i came to a stop my car would almost stall out. Giving it gas in any gear would do do next to nothing and it was hard top get above 2500rpms. Unfortunately my laptop battery was dead so I did not get a log of it. I plan on trying again in the morning and will see what happens.

are you guys planning to make a pnp version anytime soon?

I suppose if there were enough demand demonstrated, we could discuss it, but there are no current plans to do so that I'm aware of.

Which PNP do you own, the MSPNP (in the white box)? We have not seriously attempted to convert a MSPNP to the MS3 processor. I know I posted that pic a few posts ago, and I'm sorry if it was confusing, but all I did was drop a (not fully functional, pre-release) MS3 processor into a MSPNP case to see if it would physically fit. And it does, sort of--it needs the side of the case is clearanced for the MS3's USB port.
Since the MSPNP is at its heart a v3.57 board, then yes it should be possible to upgrade it to MS3, but due to lack of time and product availability, we've not actually tried it. Should be a matter of plugging it in, changing some jumpers around, and fixing up a basemap. We're out of MS3 cards, and what I've heard through the grapevine is that it will be ~2 months before we see any more.

The 2.0 firmware's planned features include knock windowing. So we'll be able to window knock detection using that firmware's (also planned) angle-clock timing code.

Does that mean one of the ADC's will be able to be used to input a knock signal into for analysis in MLV?

<fingers crossed>

You man using it as a true ADC instead of just an on-off digital signal I assume.

I think you can do that now as long as you're not trying to let the MS actually use the knock signal at the same time... You can just log the generic ADC input right now.

Was there something more that you wanted?

I see that request as more or less unrelated to the knock windowing feature.

Last time I asked I was told the response rate wasn't quick enough, I do mean for the MS to do something with it too if possible.

No I used Scott's. My timing settings were exactly the same as in ms2.

We'd have to check to see how often we can sample it. If you're expecting DSP-like analysis of the signal then the chip is too slow.
