Any ground. There's a couple of pins in the section marked "5v to vvtuner" that are ground. I don't remember which ones they are, but if you have a dmm you can probably figure it out. They're close enough that you wouldn't need to splice a wire to the resistor leads.
But, it really doesn't matter what ground you use. Your car doesn't have a vtps (unless you added it) and you just don't want to leave that pin floating. It doesn't even need to be a 1k resistor; anything from a peice of wire to a 100k resistor would probably work fine.
