Default MS3X fully assembled board MODS

Hey guys,

are the mods for running a fully assembled MS3 in a 90' MX5 the same as mentioned at turbokittys page?
(two resistors and some jumpers)
Do you have to desolder components or just leave all in place and resolder the mentioned two resistors and add the jumpers?

Thanks.

are you talking about v3.57 boards? all you need to do is add the jumpers in the correct place and tune the pot resistors -- there is no soldering of extra components required except for the expander flyback mod if youre running the expander board.

The basic board is a V3.0.

I want to fully assemble my DIY kit and then go from there.
The kit itself is from an European distributor.
