Couldn't find this information anywhere so posting this here so it gets documented.

Problem: After purchasing a ScanGauge II to replace my Ultragauge that would not connect to Rev's Can Module, I noticed that while the ScanGauge was able to connect, the refresh time for each gauge was inconsistent and in general very slow (~5-30 seconds).

Solution: I played around with CAN Broadcasting and CAN Realtime Broadcasting parameters and settled on the values shown below.
This resulted in a fairly consistent refresh time of around .5-1 second, with the refresh rate on the ScanGauge itself set to fast.
If anyone else has experience with better settings, I'm all ears.

FYI: This is on Rev's MS3 Basic, FW 1.4.0.

Btw you don't need to enable "CAN Broadcasting", only the "CAN Realtime Data Broadcasting".

And I would increase everything to at least 10Hz. It doesn't hurt anything.
