When I compare the green pattern to Alex's green pattern mine is symetrical and his isnt making it seem like I am missing a mark/tooth (i dunno)

Right so I got a reply from Phil regarding the logs:

Hi Sam,
I must confess that all looks fine apart from the missing syncs. Have you tried swapping to Rising edge rather than falling?
The inverted cam isnt right, that should fall from the top on the cvs logs,
thanks
Phil
I have replied and sent him the 4 logs where its rising edge, cam inverted and the other 3 ect to see what he says.

Is it possible I might have a faulty CAS?

So I just got a reply back from Phil again:

It could be something like that, as it looks so close to being right. Do you have one you could swap it over with?
So I am gonna swap the CAS over tomorrow and fit a fresh O-ring and hope for the best really... I suppose its possible the CAS got damage when fitting the engine and It may have hit the fire wall but I doubt it.

His looks nb. I think you just need to mod the board. Will post the steps later.

His is a MK1 BBR turbo just with a MS2 instead of the stock BBR ECU since it decided to die on him.

And thanks Brain, I wont mod it my self what I'll do is relay the information to Phil and get his opinion since he built it of course.

So I swapped over the CAS today and no luck at all I took another log and its exactly the same and according to Phil its close but literally a few degress off which annoying.

He asked for me to open the ECU and send him pictures as he always uses a opto circuit on MX5's however he has had a few cases where a VR circuit has been needed instead which I find odd since from what I have read VR was only introduced from MS2 onwards so my MS1 wouldn't of been using VR it would have used opto and that worked, badly but it worked hence the upgrade since I had surging issues.

Anyways I have attached the images for you guys to also take a gander at:

Okay I got a reply from Phil and basically he is asking me to remove two links and add two wires, I am not sure what this is actually going to do but he said just to try it again after that.

Just to keep you updated here is the pictures he sent me:

And remove these links.

I have to add these wires.

Does anyone actually have a idea what I am doing here?

Ahh brilliant thank you brain, so basically Phil forgot to update my board when upgrading to MS2 atleast on that side of things.

Atleast that pretty much confirms that I should be good to start the car tomorrow or atleast progress to the next stage atleast!
