Ok, I'm stuck.

Can someone give me or tell me where I can download a base tune. I've seen some MSQ's I don't now what that stands for, I assume they are base tunes. But they are completely different from what I need. I also do not know how to apply them anyways.
:(
I need this car running right! It's my only car and I need it for work. Now I'm wishing I had just bought a rising rate FPR instead of a stupid MS. What's worse is no shop in town will touch it because they're all afraid to work on it because it has a MS in it. :(

Ok, this leads me to think that you don't have an MSQ or file to load.
Did you try the DIY web site ?
Did your MS come with a CD ?

or Must not be Stupid to use it?
I think your very first and foremost issue is simply trying to figure out what com port your tuning cable resides on.
Errors when loading a MSQ file doesnt mean much, it could mean that your configurator is setup for kPa and the map is set for PSI, or another WB, or simple setting changes.
You need to start over from the beginning, your earlier post #21 suggests you have no firmware loaded.
And you'll never be able to load/connect if you cant figure out what com port you are using.
You also didn't get HR_10g loaded.
your next plan of action needs to be right clicking on My Computer, selecting Manage, selecting device manager, open the com ports section, and see what com port your cable is on. then post that here. If you cannot do that, you'll never get it. if you downloaded the mspnp installer, you can even go to Programs, Megasquirt, Port Checker, and see what ports it says are in use.

1. Comport 3, everything is set for comport 3 no problems there anymore.
2. Firmware is loaded.
3. HR_10g is loaded.

Everything looks Ok but I don't know what else I should be looking for.
If it says it has 14 warnings I close that little window then it will popup 14 more times untill it finally goes away. But it never says what's wrong.

Are you sure you're connected? That sounds like the what happens when I try to burn an MSQ from my desktop to my car and MS that's out in the driveway. It doesn't say "page 1-13 could not connect to controller"?
