Your temp gauge (even the one from NA) won't be quite as accurate as, say, a Honeywell unit.
The canchecked gauge has a 3D-printed mount, which falls apart at the moderate pressure (yet, SuperGlue works wonders). It is designed to be mounted in the oil temp gauge location, however, I don't foresee that it would be very difficult to print a custom mount yourself.
Cheers!

EDIT: Also to add, they removed the audio warning ability which was one of the reasons why I bought it. Noticing a warning light works okay at night but during daytime it's very hard.

I've been recommended a Perfect Tuning gauge by multiple sources. I plan on buying one once my car is functional.

I basically just gave up on using it for my AFR and got a dedicated AFR gauge. Support from CANChecked is spotty and of course there is the language barrier. I probably wouldn't recommend this product to anyone and I would suggest finding other alternatives. The OLED screen is a poor lighting choice because of it's brightness limitations so it is very hard to see in the daylight.

Is there any way you can send me the most recent firmware?

Update: I'm running firmware 3.0B_b.
I got it set up to test (but not installed)
There's some kind of unit conversion error. When temp was set to Fahrenheit, a bunch of the values were wrong (AFR and MAP).
Everything seems to work when temp is set to Celcius, though.
I havent tried any of the alerts yet.

Interesting, I never tried running degrees C. I would send that information over to Hendrik, it might help him find the issue with AFR and MAP. I'll take a look at what versions I have, he has sent me over a few over the months. The Fahrenheit difference he said was just a rounding thing. It's only off by one degree so I don't care too much. Clearly this is a bias against the Imperial system.
