Side effects might include torque of uncertain origin, increased response to boost, and end to false beliefs regarding faster revving of 1.6 motor.

Color me a noob, but how do we go about ordering one of these borderline legendary ECUs? Are the ms3x's pnp or is there harness fabwork to be done?

The first post still has all the details you're looking for. Go ahead and PM if you're interested or have more questions.

Bad timing for me right now. Haven't been responding to any PM's last week or so. I'll catch up soon and start up again soon.

Braineack,

Any idea when you're going to start building units again? I sent you a pm a couple weeks ago.

Would it be possible for me to pay you to troubleshoot the ms3x I built? Or possibly refer me to someone who can? I built it and everything seems to be okay except for the crank sensor / vr circuit. I've tried for over a month to make it work and I've just failed hardcore at it.

Hey, I would really like to get a ms3x from you. I sent you a pm a little while back. Diypnp doesn't make a ms3 for my 97, so my options are pretty limited.

I sure did, I'm really bummed out because I was fairly certain I had it done up correctly. But I'm pretty overwhelmed at this point and I think that this part of the troubleshooting is above my ability. Kind of wish I just had you build me one from the start :/. I made it for a 96-97 with the harness and what not though.

What's the lead time on a MS3X/knock sensor? Link is... Inadequate at best and I really want to not blow my **** up.
