I got a pair of mani last week ( one for my friend and one for me ). He's in Europe but DHL got it to me in CA within 3 days of shipping. Wasn't going to post since I wasn't able to completely test fit due to it being drilled for M10 vs M8. Kraken is nice enough to swap it out for me with another one drilled for M8. I've been waiting quite a while too so I understand your frustration but this is not vaporware or a guy out to steal money ( IMO ). Definitely could use some polish with customer communication at times but I kinda expected it when buying something that's still in 'pre-production'. I hope once he gets everything made and a process streamlined, that will improve.

Here's a pics of it in my Exo with the EFR. He's also making me a custom DP for that vband.

Hi, just a quick update

The reason some of you havent got your kits yet is mainly because
1. I am not happy with the welding and have tried to fix that issue, i am somewhat satisfied now.
2. I have prioritised those who have race/drift cars ( mainly for testing the manifold)
3. I have prioritised those who are in the EU, because shipping is very expensive and if anything is wrong it will be much quicker/cheaper to recitfy.
4. I have prioritised re-sellers (not the best idea)
5. I am still waiting for the inconel studs to be ready, which I would like to send out as standard
6. I am still waiting for any failures to show up before I start shipping to everyone else
7. It has been holiday seasson and this has been a really big inconvinience

If anyone doesnt fancy waiting, please message me at krakn08@gmail.com or whatsapp me on ++4 4 794 00 43 24 3
Best way to contact me is facebook and whatsapp, also if its very urgent call me on the number above

I am very aware I am late, im quite stressed over it but do want to send out best I can do. I will update monday again as I have laod of pics to upload

Thanks for the update, Michael.

I messaged you about switching from a 1.6L Manifold to a 1.8L Manifold. WIlling to wait as long as that takes to make it happen. (I do have a racecar if that matters haha)

I am having trouble figuring out exactly what is available. Will a 1.8L to Subaru TD04 manifold be available?

I'm waiting. I've got plenty of time, since this will probably be a "winter rebuild" anyway.

Recived mine 1,6 mani and dp and ic piping some time ago (1.5-2weeks), timeline was somewhat what it was meant to be so you will eventually get yours too People who think ~3weeks late is too much to handle, i waited revent kit over 6months when it was promised to be ready and 3months on top of that without any progress and then i switched to this option Will post some pics soon when i got my other stuff sorted out first.

I think this is an awesome little project. Wish stuff like this was available 15 years ago.

Any particular reason this isn't available in T3 flange? Or is T3 considered oversized for 1.8 these days?

I may have missed something, but the first sentence says he's offering it with a t3 flange.
How many people have received these at this point?

Seems like almost every quality turbo these days uses a T25 and/or V-band outlet.

Beat this manifold pretty hard this weekend at a trackday. About 7 - 15min sessions and 1 - 20min session on it in a single day. Nothing like a short enduro car may see or anything but well beyond any street car beating. I didn't have a single issue with the setup. A bit aggressive on my boost table leading to some boost cut in a few turns but nothing major. Really satisfied with this setup.

I have put some heavy mountain runs on it, a bit of street driving and a trackday. I installed this setup a few months ago. You can see my full build here...

That GTR point-by! I've gotten a ZR1 point-by before in HPDE2 but never a GTR. Seems like these manifolds hold up well (as you would expect a heavy lump of cast iron to). Good stuff

1.8 manifold tapped for M8 perfectly mounts an EFR in my Exocet.

he wont. he explained it very rudely on his FB page when people asked about SS over his iron, then deleted the comments.

luckily I saved some of it:

Anthony Hulbert But this manifold in stainless would be ****

Kraken Ni-Resist MX5 Turbo Manifolds Why? I can make it in stainless itll be inferior. Stainless is much cheaper than the alloy i am using

Dominic Mitchell For people in the uk, Doug Cook at G19 has a properly engineered cast turbo manifold with excellent balanced flow and proper material qualities

Kraken Ni-Resist MX5 Turbo Manifolds Why would you come here and say that, i reckon the alloy i am using is superior to g19s btw

Brain why don't you explain to uninformed potential customers why 80USD of nickel is an advantage? why SS is inferior...

Kraken Ni-Resist MX5 Turbo Manifolds Show me one stainless steel oem turbo manifold and i will write a 1000 word essay on this
I promise

Brain Just become OE's do it, is not necessarily the best answer. I'm trying to help you here, you obviously have interested parties that don't understand the difference and/or benefits, but instead you're more interesting in being an *** over selling your product. Just seems odd to me.

Kraken Ni-Resist MX5 Turbo Manifolds Really hate writing essays after a long day.

SS is mainly used for its anti corrosion properties... like in food processing and marine stuff and even then there maybe 30 types of different ss.

The reason why people are making ss manifolds is because
1. Its cheap
2. Elbows are available of the shelf
3. Looks better than mild steel

Anthony's post was a bit retarded, there is no need to come on this page and say irrelevant **** when he doesnt even know the difference between casting and iron
If you need help Anthony Hulbert

Cast is a manufacturing process
Iron is well, a metal

Brain You can cast SS... Like all 347 manifolds on the market.
Crazy huh?

Wow .. my comment was just made in jest as I'm quite happy with my cast "whatever material this is" manifold from him .. I didn't know there was already drama with stainless .. :X
