There will most likely he another batch but at a little higher price point. It has turned out to be a lot more work than I thought. Also occasionally I'll break something and then have to buy another one. So I'd like to give myself some room for fuckups without losing money.

I hope you've added something into this for your own time, I hope we are not just covering materials for you.

Haha not the first time around. Someone could reproduce this for about the same price, minus shipping and 3d printing. Next time around the price will go up a bit but I still want to keep it cheap.

Welcome to how I feel with MKTurbo.

How is my requested coffee maker add on going with it?

Daymn son, I suspected as much when I started looking up the hardware. That's very awesome that you are making the effort. To show my gratitude I'll continue to smother you in props for your efforts.

Buying in bulk pretty much helped enough to get an extra of each bit of hardware, so I get my own for free haha.

Small update:

I've been gone 2 weekends in a row, and will be gone again this weekend. But I spent some time in solidworks and am redesigning the case a bit.

Or stop rowing:

You should see people who just started rowing. Its disgusting. I've got 3 years of 10 practices a week on these babies so they are pretty calloused and used to it.

Hello.

Awesome project! I don't want to seem ungrateful, a dork, or an ***, but I would like to ask you about using different parts. Please do not take my questions as any sort of criticism about what you are doing.

Is there any chance you could build what you are doing with a 50hz GPS receiver, & an active external antenna connection?

These are just what I found. I have no idea if they are applicable.
50hz -165dbm Gps/qzss/sbas Receiver Module - Buy Gps Navigation Tracking Product on Alibaba.com
Free Sample 2013 New High Gain Gps Navgacion Antena - Buy Gps Navgacion Antena,Gps Navgacion Antena,Gps Active Antenna Product on Alibaba.com
I cannot tell if the device has to power the antenna or if the power can be separate.

I have an older non- GLONASS 10hz GPS receiver I use with SoloStorm and the data is just not good enough. It maybe that an accurate car data recording system has to have good accelerometers & good GPS to even be remotely useful I don't know.

Thank you for your time!

I had no idea higher rates existed...

NavSpark : Arduino Compatible Development Board with GPS / GNSS

There's 50hz and an external antenna if I'm not mistaken, the same chip as posted above. Only runs at 20Hz max though, I can't tell...

Not bad, 10Hz is good enough for me though, because that offers down to the tenth of a second lap times.

True. It makes a data point ten times a second. That does mean the margin of error has to be larger than a tenth. Right?

Anyway does your reply mean no?
