Yep! I changed how I made them because it took way too long. And by doing this they are a little taller and longer. Which meant I had to modify the case. I'm really not good at CAD stuff so it took me a few too many tries. But the case is finally designed right.

(I'll put a picture here later today when I get back to the lab)

I'm also in the middle of my last term of college, so things are getting a little crazy. I will finish assembling them this weekend and hopefully get them all printing. I would like to start shipping Monday but no guarantees.

Does that help?

Semi-relevant xkcd

Looking forward to the final product and getting it in the mail. If they could get sent out in the next couple weeks before my May event, that would be killer.

I'll do my best. Printing is free through work, but that means I'm not first priority.

We makin progress:

These are the suction cup faces. Half of them are cut, and the other half are cutting as I type. Next up is to cut the other faces. The 3d printer is out of commission right now for a day or 2 but I would like to get those at least started printing this weekend.

Aren't 3D printers amazing!

I can print 10 cases at a time. I've slowly been soldering the chips together. I'm about 5 out of 27 through. Eventually you all will be getting shipping notifications! Get excited.

3D printers are amazing, and I am jealous you get to make stuff with them. It's been cool seeing these come together.

Right now I'm busy filling these. I may do some more in the future. But this is also an open source project:

Bluetooth GPS for Car by Bartimaeus - Thingiverse

It isn't fully updated, once I get some more free time I will update it and everything. So if you want to make your own go ahead. Just send them back to me if they ask.

Your's isn't as good as I wanted. I couldn't think of anything other than something slightly homosexual. Nothing clever though.

Can anyone confirm if these work with Trackmaster and/or SoloStorm?
