Oil temperature and pressure configuration settings:

Sensors used: Temperature, pressure, both
Oil temp sensor type: Same as coolant, same as IAT, linear

The CEL is used again to warn of possible problems.

By feeding said sensors with 5V for reference.

Went for a test drive on the second prototype of the "Lite" line. Knock sensing is AWESOME. Look below, each time I was hearing knock, I was automatically backing off the throttle. Datalog confirms there was severe knock, and the CEL was lighting up as expected:

Settings for this:

I need to increase the threshold between 4000rpm and 6000rpm though.

Oh i do like indicators. I always want to know when outputs have triggered and such, like the a/c clutch.

This is 3.2.1??

All of this can be had with a firmware update & reinstall current tune?

No. It requires on of my own Megasquirts, that include a special expansion board that adds all these features.

Hmm bummer. Sounds like you need to build me a real MS. This busted hacked up POS is useless.

I can't wait to get one of these installed.

Going laptop shopping this next week I think.
Should I go for the Intel Atom netbook, or something a little more powerful?

I am interested in this, too.

Thinking about switching to an atom from my current 15.4 laptop. Too big for the seat.

I would recommend a smallish core i3 or i5 notebook instead. I have the HP2540p for tuning and I love it.

Does speed sensor work with the analog speedo cabled cars?
Somehow magically reading from the gauge cluster.

When will these be available? looking to buy a MS in the next week, or at least place the order for one.

It would be great to have Alternator constrained by TPS too. Ideally you'd want the alternator only working under light or no-load (engine) conditions.
