Megasquirt + injectors. $1k and you have awesome engine management including injectors, WBo2, and most everything else. Just takes time :(

k guys i can get my hands on supra injectors (380cc) from a 87 supra NA. Will I be ok if i get those ? will i need to run 3:1 for the vortech disc at 15 psi or will it still need to be set at the 4:1 disc ratio? Or should I keep looking for 305cc supra injectors

That's really hard to say without a wideband...hence the reason the Vortech's kind of annoying to tune.

the rx7 afm should be ok but you will be apraoching the limits of it's capabilitys to fool the stock ecu. a 4-1 would be ok becouse at 15 psi you end up with 100 or so psi of fuel pressure provided you got the walboro 190 hp fp. or 80 or so psi on stock pump.
sqrt(100/45)* 380= 566 cc*.8=453 cc/10.5=43.160/.6=71.932*4=287 chp potential.
or at 80 psi 257 chp potential. good luck

Okay, okay, so, yes, you'll probably have enough fuel, but without a wideband, you'll not know if you're running a 9.5:1 AFR or 13.5:1.

True but who likes trying to tune when they have all the answers

You mentioned the mx6 injectors, but you may need to raise your fuel pressure to get over 220hp. For fuel pump there is the walbro which you mentioned, but you can also run an inline fuel pump like the pierburg 190(?) that i have installed.

If you do it this way, it would run you about $1k for megasquirt, LC1 wideband, fuel injectors, and fuel pump.

edit: You said you are getting ready for a stroker kit ... why would you want to skimp now on engine management and fuel system. Do it once, do it right, and never have to do it again is my motto. The stroker kit will probably need programable timing and fuel control anyway, so i say go standalone + injectors and then you will be ready for your stroker. Honestly i dont understand why you want to go stroker with your current turbo setup anyway as the turbo will be too small and start pussin out by 5k rpm

I made 220whp and 230ft/b on just an AFPR, Bipes, Pierburgh pump, and Greddy turbo @ 13psi. Did it for 2 years like that w/o any problems.....

But ya... as far as injectors go I keep seeing different numbers. I want the simplest way.. I just ordered the vortech discs I have a MBC but i cant boost more then 7-8 psi fully closed so im guessing it has to be the wastegate. Which wastegate would be a direct swap for the greddy one? Anyone know ? I bet Ive asked the most number of questions on this board and I dont even have that many posts so excuse my ignorance because i come from a NA car ( 350z)

I ran 18-19psi on a T3 super 60 with my 1.6L. I would estimate that I was around 280whp at that point. I was running 8.1 @ 89mph in the 1/8 mile with that setup. Thats a low 12 sec 1/4 @ around 115mph or so. I did this for about 1 1/2 years but then one day I got an odd spike to 25psi and my #3 piston exploded and then my rod went though the oil pan.

Andy,

What AFPR were you using and what ratio disc was in it?
